Last Meeting

I. Call to order

Ryan Greenlee called to order the regular meeting of the AITP USI Student Chapter at 12:00 P.M. in Room 2027 in the Orr Center.

II. Roll call

LAN Party - – may not be able to get the building until after March. We had Brandon here to share with us that school usually doesn’t allow events after midnight. We would need to request a special exception for services available to hold all weekend. Thinking sometime in November but not sure about dates yet. (21-23 in the PAC building).
 
Discussion was about times, rules, food, computer access, and many other items but nothing was decided on at this time. Concerns are the campus, server, putting our name on an issue, Safety…

Tutors needed for CIS and CS classes which will give the club a $6.00 per hour revenue. If interested get in touch with Dr. Furoughi about participating.
 
Microsoft competition done world wide. Egypt imagine cup. Software, embedded design, and Game development competitions. http://imaginecup.com is the link to find out more information.
 
Business club contacted us about becoming part of their club which combines all business structured clubs and would allow us to become more involved in things on campus.
 
Donate time for the Majors fair on October 23rd Carter Hall.
 
Talked about stuffing envelopes for career development located in lower conference room. This will be done Oct. 20th – 23rd and we will be paid for doing this.
